MUSIC BASED NEUROTRAINING |

Read about the latest research study of First Responders using BMT, a music-based form of neurofeedback training that has been shown to reduce stress while improving sleep and job performance among law enforcement officers and firefighters. Please Read: Cerebral Melodies and download the recently published article in the Journal of Neurotherapy Click Here. BMT is an effective, evidence-based treatment that helps reduce symptoms of high stress, anxiety and insomnia. It has also been found to increase productivity and concentration in at-work individuals studied. BMT works by using musical tones to drive your brain’s key processing systems to a desired pattern of activity. BMT uses your brain waves from 4 sites and converts them into two musical compositions that are unique to you; one for relaxing and the other for activating specific parts of your brain. These musical compositions target brain systems that promote relaxation or trigger increased activation in your mind and body. BMT is available as two MP3 musical files that you can use anytime, night or day to relax or perk yourself up, depending on your need. There are no pills involved with BMT and no side effects reported in studies of the method. BMT is customized to each person’s unique brain wave patterns, which is why it is so effective at reducing stress and improving problems with sleep. BMT is backed by solid scientific evidence, including double blind and cross-over controlled studies. See Below * BMT is an active form of Neurofeedback training that creates music from your brain wave patterns and feeds it back in the form of a piano composition to drive the brain state of the listener. Several BMT studies as part of a Department of Homeland Security sponsored Wellness Program for First Responders developed by Human Bionics and co-investigator Dr. Galina Mindlin, Peak NT Medical Director. BMT identifies, records and reinforces the movement of the listener’s brain waves towards a pattern that is consistent with reduced stress and improved sleep. The Activating and Relaxing music compositions are associated with a relaxed or focused state of mind that influences physiological parameters, such as heart rate, blood pressure and muscle tension. |
